Q: How much do recycling bins cost?
A: Bins cost a one time fee of $10.00 each. (You own the bin, we own the trash carts!)
Q: How much does the recycle service cost?
A: The recycle service costs $5.00 per month unless you live in a subdivision with 50 or more residents and we are recommended by the Home Owners Association.
Q: What goes in my recycle bin?
A: This is a list of the items that Allwaste recycles:
- Steel Cans (Tin)
- Aluminum Cans
- #1 and #2 plastic containers.
- Note: Check the bottom of the containers for #1 & #2 only.
- Glass bottles (Green, brown and clear. Please rinse!)
- Newspaper print
- Phone Books
- Magazines
A: Same day as trash: Place our bin out every time with your extra recycling bins or bags at least 5 feet from your trash to avoid driver confusion.
Q: Can recyclables be mixed together, like steel and plastic?
A: Yes! It's called co-mingled or single stream recycling.
NOTE: We have a recycle truck that picks up the recycling and transfers it to a recycle center. We never mix recyclables with garbage! We care about the community we share and the environment.
